Hailed as America's first solar-powered town, Babcock Ranch has been making headlines since plans were first announced in 2005. Part of a complex transaction that resulted in the single largest conservation land purchase in Florida history, Babcock Ranch is creating a new model for responsible, sustainable growth. Firm principal Lisa Hall has been a core member of the project team since inception - from message development and coalition building to secure approvals to branding and media relations. Construction of the new town got underway in 2016 - and it continues to garner national and international media coverage as the vision becomes reality.

On November 2, 2010, Floridians overwhelmingly demanded that lawmakers end the historic manipulation of congressional and legislative districts to protect the seats of incumbents or advance the interest of their political parties. Adoption of the Fair Districts Amendments was just the beginning of the battle. In 2012 the Fair Districts Coalition turned to the courts to force lawmakers to comply - and four years later, lawmakers were finally forced to deliver the Fair Districts that voters demanded. Hall+Media Strategies served as media liaison for the coalition partners, working to keep media engaged and promoting accurate reporting of the court proceedings.

Floridians depend on their courts to provide rational resolution of disputes through fair & impartial consideration of the merits and equal application of the law - without predjudice or favor. The rule of law is the foundation of a successful democracy. So it is no exaggeration to say the future of democracy was at stake when politicians and special interests sought to seize control over the courts by campaigning to remove three judges from the Florida Supreme Court when they came up for retention elections in 2012. The 501c3 organized to expose the effort to politicize the judiciary generated a media outcry defending the Justices against the unprecedented attack.
